The next in our Other Voices series of singles is available to pre-order today. This time it’s two beautiful songs from Portuguese group Beautify Junkyards. It's released on 10th June and follows on from their remarkable album of last year The Beast Shouted Love.

Beautify Junkyards will be our special guests on the next Other Voices single this June. Meanwhile here's a recent live TV session of Rainbow Garland, a track from their incredible recent album  The Beast Shouted Love.

BEAUTIFY JUNKYARDS IN THE GUEST SHOP

The Parish council unanimously recommend this second LP by Lisbon's Beautify Junkyards. The Beast Shouted Love is an incredible album that deserves to be a huge success and its available on vinyl in the Ghost Box Guest Shop right now.

A kind of pan-European folky electronic pop that somehow simultaneously conjures Broadcast, Nick Drake, Heron, Belbury Poly and Os Mutantes. A  beautifully crafted  instrumental palette of acoustic and electronic sound with delicate male and female vocals in both Portuguese and English.

Beautify Junkyards have enjoyed enormous critical acclaim (see below) and Ghost Box are very excited to be releasing a single by them next year as part of the Other Voices Series.
